I have been working as a GP since 1998 and joined the practice in 2010. I am happy to see all aspects of General Practice. I have special interests in Women’s Health and contraception (including coil fits and implants), Pediatrics and Dermatology. (I am involved in minor surgery in the practice). I also work some of the time at UWE seeing the students.
Dr Zara Aziz

I completed my GP training in Lancashire before moving to Bristol a few years ago. I am interested in all aspects of general practice particularly women’s/young people’s health. I have a keen interest in medical journalism and write for GP magazine and other publications.
Dr Neil Robertson

I joined Old School Surgery as a full-time partner in September 2011, having previously been working in Chew Magna.
I qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 2002 and completed my training for General Practice in Newcastle. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but have a particular interest in diabetes, dermatology and mental health.
Dr Nida Hussain
I joined the practice in September 2014 and completed my General Practice training in Somerset. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, in particular general medicine and women’s health.
Dr Rachel Johnson

I qualified from Medical School in 1998, and spent some years working in hospital medicine before joining the general practice in 2003. I enjoy all areas of general practice but have a special interest in heart disease. Alongside my work at the surgery, I work at the University of Bristol where I am involved in research relevant to general practice.
Dr Victoria Barnard
I qualified in 2003 and worked in hospital medicine for several years. I have been working in General practice since 2011, having completed my GP training in Cornwall. I moved to Bristol in 2013 and have been working here ever since. During term time I also work at the UWE Health Center once a week. I enjoy many aspects of General Practice but in particular, general medicine and women’s health.
Dr Bethany Jones
I qualified from medical school in 2002 and have been working as a GP since 2008. I joined this practice in May 2017. I work at UWE Health Center two days each week and I have an interest in all aspects of general practice.
Dr Natalie Hallam
I qualified from Liverpool University in 2011 and moved to Bristol to complete my GP training. I joined The Old School Surgery in 2017. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but have a particular interest in palliative care, women’s health and contraception ( including fitting coils and implants). I also perform some joint injections and am involved in medical student teaching.
Dr Jess Foster

I trained in Manchester, qualifying in 2010, before moving to the South West to start junior doctor jobs. After a year of working in New Zealand, I returned to Bristol to complete my GP training. I joined The Old School Surgery as a salaried GP in September 2017, and enjoy seeing all aspects of GP, in particular palliative care, young people’s health and general medicine.
I trained in Bristol and qualified in 2011 and then stayed in Bristol to complete my GP training. I joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2017. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but in particular, women’s health and young people’s health.

I qualified from Bristol University and subsequently worked in London and New Zealand, before returning to Somerset to complete my GP training. I joined the practice in 2018. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but in particular general medicine and men’s health.
Dr Elizabeth Tabor

I completed my GP training in Somerset in 2010. Since then I have been working as a GP in and around Bristol. I joined the practice in April 2018. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but have a particular interest in women’s health, contraception and palliative care.

I qualified in London and worked there until I moved to Bristol in the Summer of 2019. I have been working at the Old School Surgery since October 2019. I have a broad interest in General Practice and am happy to see all conditions. I have a special interest in Pediatrics and Medical Education.

I qualified from Bristol Medical School in 2003, and have been working as a general practitioner since 2008. I am happy to see all conditions. I have a particular interest in Respiratory Medicine, Men’s Health and Medical Education.
Dr Hannah Courtney

I qualified from Bristol University in 2011 and went on to work in Oxford and Sydney, Australia. I completed my GP training in London, where I continued to work as a GP until I moved to Bristol. I have been working as a salaried GP at The Old School Surgery since November 2019. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but have a particular interest in women’s health and lifestyle medicine.
Dr Rachel Brewster
Prior to moving to Bristol for my GP training, I have worked in Wales & New Zealand. I joined the Old School Surgery as a salaried GP in Oct 2021. I enjoy the variety General Practice offers but also have interests in Womens health, Contraception and Health Promotion.
