I have been working as a GP since 1998 and joined the practice in 2010. I am happy to see all aspects of General Practice. I have special interests in Women’s Health and contraception (including coil fits and implant), Paediatrics and Dermatology. (I am involved in minor surgery in the practice). I also work some of the time at UWE seeing the students.
I completed my GP training in Lancashire before moving to Bristol a few years ago. I am interested in all aspects of general practice particularly women’s/young people’s health. I have a keen interest in medical journalism and write for GP magazine and other publications.
I joined Old School Surgery as a full time partner in September 2011, having previously been working in Chew Magna. I qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 2002 and completed my training for General Practice in Newcastle.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice but have a particular interest in diabetes, dermatology and mental health.
I joined the surgery at the beginning of 2014 having gaining a lot of experience in hospital medicine before starting GP training. I enjoy all parts of general practice but have particular interest in respiratory medicine.
In my spare time I try somewhat unsuccessfully to keep fit alongside keeping the kids occupied
I joined the practice in September 2014 and completed my General Practice training in Somerset. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, in particular general medicine and women’s health.
I qualified from Medical School in 1998, and spent some years working in hospital medicine before joining general practice in 2003.
I enjoy all areas of general practice, but have a special interest in heart disease.
Alongside my work at the surgery, I work at the University of Bristol where I am involved in research relevant to general practice.
I joined the practice as a part time GP in September 2014. I enjoy all aspects of general practice in particular general medicine, palliative care and women’s health.
I qualified in 2003 and worked in hospital medicine for several years. I have been working in General practice since 2011, having completed my GP training in Cornwall. I moved to Bristol in 2013 and have been working here ever since. During term time I also work at the UWE Health Centre once a week. I enjoy many aspects of General Practice but in particular, general medicine and women’s health.
I trained in Cardiff and qualified in 2003 and after some time working in surgical specialities, completed my GP training in Swansea. Since then I’ve worked as a GP in Bedminster, Southmead and Lockleaze as well as time as a Hospice Staff Grade Doctor and a Clinical Assistant in Dermatology at the GP Support Unit in the BRI. I joined the practice in 2015. I work part time for Brisdoc out of hours service, and I’m involved in the clinical supervision of doctors in training and in medical student teaching. I have interests in acute medical care, dermatology and palliative care.
I qualified from medical school in 2002 and have been working as a GP since 2008. I joined this practice in May 2017. I work at UWE health centre two days each week and I have interest in all aspects of general practice.
Dr Natalie Hallam
I qualified from Liverpool University in 2011 and moved to Bristol to complete my GP training. I joined The Old School Surgery in 2017. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but have a particular interest in palliative care, women’s health and contraception ( including fitting coils and implants). I also perform some joint injections and am involved in medical student teaching.
Dr Jess Foster

I trained in Manchester, qualifying in 2010, before moving to the South West to start junior doctor jobs. After a year working in New Zealand, I returned to Bristol to complete by GP training. I joined The Old School Surgery as a salaried GP in September 2017, and enjoy seeing all aspects of GP, in particular palliative care, young peoples health and general medicine.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice but in particular, women’s health and young people’s health.

I qualified from Bristol University, and subsequently worked in London and New Zealand, before returning to Somerset to complete my GP training.
I joined the practice in 2018. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but in particular general medicine and men’s health.
MBBCh, MRCGP, DFSRH, DCOG
I completed my GP training in Somerset in 2010. Since then I have been working as a GP in and around Bristol. I joined the practice in April 2018.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but have a particular interest in women’s health, contraception and palliative care.
