Self Monitoring

It is useful to have up to date readings on your record for your blood pressure, height and weight.  So, unless a nurse or doctor takes regular readings, we would encourage you to take your own readings every six months.

We have a blood pressure monitor, height measure and scales in the area just off the waiting room next to Rooms 10 and 11.  You do not need an appointment to use these.  You can take your measurements whenever reception is open.

There are instructions explaining how to use each piece of equipment, as well as how to interpret your results and when to book an appointment with a doctor / nurse.  There is also a form to complete and hand into reception.
