Jo Chambers – Nurse Practitioner
I qualified as a nurse in Birmingham in 1996 and since then have been working to extend my skills in clinical examination, diagnosis and prescribing.  I have been working as a Nurse Practitioner for the past few years and you may be offered an appointment with me if you request an urgent same-day appointment at the surgery. I also work at the University branch of the surgery at UWE. I am able to prescribe medications for you if appropriate and arrange further investigations.  I mainly see patients with minor illnesses or injuries and have a specialist interest in contraception and sexual health.

Amy Chrzanowski – Mental Health Nurse

My name is Amy and I am your mental health nurse. I work full-time and am based between The Old School and UWE Health Centre. I completed my training in 2012 at Swindon UWE and I have been working for the Bristol Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service ever since. I am really pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of this Project of integrating mental health nurses into Doctor’s surgeries and I am looking forward to being a part of your team. I think it’s a service that is very much needed. I grew up in Chippenham, Wiltshire and moved to Bristol four years ago for work. I enjoy walking, reading and going to gigs and festivals.
