Mental Health – Physiotherapy

The practice has a range of services developed specifically for patients with Mental Health needs and offers a safe space to talk through things.

Naomi and Hilary our Mental Health Nurses are working alongside the GP’s to support people experiencing problems with their Mental Health. They are able to offer 1:1 appointments to support individuals with mental health needs, this includes signposting, referral for other services, psycho education and medication advice/support. We can also provide a ‘named same GP’ service to give continuity of care where it’s required.

As part of their assessment they may suggest referral to the local talking therapies service – VitaMinds which is run by trained practitioners who listen and discuss your problems with you and offer a range of evidence based talking therapies as well as onward signposting for support in the area. This service accepts direct self-referrals via this link or you can find more information about their refferals here.
